| PARENTS, teachers, governors, councillors, trades unions and MPs will be asked for their opinions on the plans between September 17 and November 7. Kirklees Cabinet member for children’s services Clr Jim Dodds encouraged everyone to have their say. He said: “We want to listen to as many voices as we can so we’re organising a series of drop-in sessions.” The council’s Cabinet will make a final decision on the proposals by August 2009. Changes will be implemented between 2011 and 2014. Drop-in consultation sessions on the proposed changes to schools in Kirklees will be held in the following places: September 22, Castle Hall School and Specialist Language College, 3pm to 8pm |
